Many years ago, when I first started looking to sell items to the populace via the Internet, I bought a book on how to advertise products legally and still get results. Basically, it was a book on how not to cheat the customer by making great claims about a product that weren’t true just to sell it.

The main rule that I remember most is for an ad to be considered legal in the eyes of the law, you had to make the ad description: readable with a precise description of the product and the ad had to be written in such a manner that the “MOST GULLIBLE OF INDIVIDUALS” could read and have a complete understanding of what they had read.

Remember this portion: “MOST GULLIBLE OF INDIVIDUALS”. We at Doggy Planet believe and adhere to those standards, so before you place your order, be sure to read the description over a couple of times, view any and all images of the product closely, and then make an intelligent and final decision that the product you are looking at is exactly what you want because that’s what we are going to ship to your door. That done, should eliminate 99% of returns.

We at Doggy Planet endeavor to seek out and offer for sale the best, most useable, and desirable items to excite and please our customers. When we list those items for sale, we also endeavor to describe them in as precise a detail that you, the buyer can, without a doubt, rely on getting just exactly that which we described and you ordered.

We at Doggy Planet (shall hereinafter be referred to as we”, “our”,  “Company” or “us”) recognize the importance of privacy and confidentiality of personal information.

Doggyplanet.com (“Doggy Planet” or, the “Platform”) is a business to consumer (or “B2C”) platform which connects and facilitates sales and purchases between our business as sellers (or “Seller”) and consumer buyers (or “Buyers”).

Buyer protection

Buyer protection allows you to get a refund within the protection period if your item doesn’t arrive, arrives damaged, or arrives not as described.

If you decide you want a refund due to “buyer’s remorse”, or to a “change of mind”, a 20% restocking fee will be applied and deducted from your refund and you will also be responsible for return shipping charges.

Under all circumstances, it is also required that all items returned, be returned in the original packaging they were received in. Otherwise, the 20% restocking fee will also apply here.

If an item is defective, arrives not as described, or it’s the incorrect item, then we will cover the return cost.

NO REFUND WILL BE AWARDED FOR ANY OTHER REASON

How long does buyer protection last and how can I initiate a return/refund?

It lasts 10 days from the moment you confirm receipt of your item. Any is covered, with the exception of:
• Items that you have damaged yourself
• Personalized and/or custom-made items
• All perishable items
• Items unsuitable for return due to hygiene or health reasons.

There are two other situations in which you can use and benefit from the Buyer protection service:
1 – When our promises, either related to:
● transaction or after-sales services, such as a failure to follow up with the warranty on your order as promised or as required by any relevant laws and regulations
● or logistics and delivery services, such as asking you to pay additional shipping costs after your order’s been placed, or not sending your order using the agreed shipping method and/or route, logistics services, express delivery companies, etc.
